Job Summary:
Treasure Holdings, LLC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sheetrock Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing drywall surfaces to a smooth, paint-ready condition. This position plays a critical role in preparing interiors for high-quality finishes on both commercial and multi-family renovation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Tape and mud seams, joints, and corners of drywall sheets
* Apply compound in multiple coats to achieve a smooth finish
* Sand surfaces manually or with mechanical sanders to prepare for painting
* Repair damaged drywall, including patching holes and re-finishing affected areas
* Ensure clean lines and consistency across all wall and ceiling finishes
* Follow blueprints, layout plans, and project specifications
* Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition
* Keep job sites clean and adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols
* Work efficiently to meet project timelines and quality standards
Qualifications:
* 2+ years of experience as a drywall/sheetrock finisher in residential or commercial construction
* Proficiency in using taping tools, trowels, hawks, sanders, and stilts
* Ability to perform smooth, consistent finish work with minimal supervision
* Physical ability to lift 50+lbs and work on ladders or scaffolding for extended periods
* Attention to detail and craftsmanship in all finishing tasks
* Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
* OSHA 10 certification is a plus
Work Schedule & Compensation:
* Monday–Friday with occasional weekends depending on project timelines
* Hourly wage based on experience and performance
* Consistent work opportunities on active job sites
